Description: A bright, snow-covered Mount Rainier completely fills the width of the canvas above an indistinct range of foothills, and in front of that, a low, dark conifer forest and a river flowing from the right, then directly toward the viewer. On the far bank of the river, a campground with a campfire, two tents, and figures. (From a monochrome photograph.)
