A fisherman stands with his pole extended on the left bank, facing the waterfall and a snag in the middle of the river. The left foreground is covered with dry, brown brush above green grass; the sky is quite cloudy. The painting is executed in bright colors and is generally quite light. (From a color photograph.) |

Dick photo gives the size as 20 x 36 in, but the proportions of the photo are those of a 30 x 50 painting. |
