Description: A snow-capped stratovolcano (Mount Rainier? Mount Baker? Mount Adams?) rises in the center, viewed across a series of low ridges and a river valley in the lower right. A slope climbs high to the left, topped with brown rocks. A cluster of three conifers stands in the left foreground, penetrating the sky. Elsewhere on the slope are separated stands of trees, becoming forest in the distance. Separating the trees are grassy clearings with wildflowers, the foreground clearing being quite bright. The river shows several shades of blue before exiting at the right edge; the far bank on the right is less distinct, but similar in character to the near bank. The sky is yellowish, shading to a little blue at the tope with a few clouds. In the distance on the right, beyond the volcano, the country becomes relatively flat, with a blue lake dimly perceived. (From a color photograph.)
Identification: Assigned, descriptive title. The slide has no further identifying information.
