| Description: | A brownish path leads from the shadowed foreground past a sunny spot and over a ridge, presumably to lead down to the valley below. The clearing on both sides of the path is a grassy green gentle slope up to the right, with wildflowers and small rocks in abundance. Behind to the right is Bridal Veil Fall, while El Capitan stands to the left, beyond a rocky, sparsely treed slope. In the background a series of rocky cliffs fills in the horizon through the haze. A blue-silver river winds through the valley below; the sky is light blue. (From a color photograph.) |
