| Description: | Two large broadleaf trees with exposed roots stand close together on a slight grassy rise, dominating the left center of the painting. They are almost completely surrounded by white and brown rocks on the ground at a distance a little greater than the size of their crowns. Beyond the rise are brown fields with a river in the distance near the right center. The sky is a brownish gray, perhaps covered with storm clouds. |
