Description: A painting of Yosemite National park--the valley bottom with El Capitan at the left, Bridal Veil Fall on the right, and two or three figures on horseback on a trail in the foreground. (Owner's description)
Legend: Said to have belonged to the collector's great grandfather, who owned the Burrard and Cosmopolitan hotels in Vancouver, B.C. in the 1880s. The painting may have been left as payment for a room.
