Note: This advertisement was repeated on Tuesday, 1 November, Wednesday, 2 November, and Thursday, 3 November 1887. It also appeared on 31 October 1887 in the San Francisco Chronicle XLVI, 109, page 4, column 6. Although the advertisement does not mention a catalog, William K. Dick reports seeing a catalog (currently not located) that listed 75 paintings.
