Description: | A very open scene, mostly sky. A figure strolls down a rutted path directly toward the viewer, about to enter the shadow of two large redwood trees that fill the right side of the picture. On the left, more distant redwoods and a listing broadleaf tree provide a frame. (There are some objects in the center background, but the photograph is too indistinct to allow identification.)
