Description: | A scene in broad strokes of a foggy seacost. A large tree, with trunks of fallen trees lying at its base, stands near the top of a coastal bank which slopes from the left down to the rocky edge of the ocean on the right. Against the fog-filled sky on the right are seen five seagulls in the distance, some black, some white. (From the painting, 14 October 1989) |
