| Description: | A bright Springtime forest scene, with no sky visible, in which a gentle, blue stream flows forward from the center, to the left, and finally fills the center front of the painting. On the right, a gnarled tree grows at the base of a brownish slope to fill the entire right half of the painting; the left bank is occupied with bright green shrubbery and low trees against a background of darker green forest blending to blue in the distant center.
