Description: | A view down a boulder-littered hillside. Just beyond a sloped grassy clearing, two tall conifers stand near the left, the highest trees in a forest behind which is a mountain turned brownish-red by the setting sun, off the canvas to the right. Two snags lie on the hillside near the trees. The sky is blue at the top, shading through orange clouds and finally to a dark horizon. (From a color photograph.) |
