Provenance: | (As reported by Clar's Auction Gallery) "The painting was originally purchased in San Francisco in the 1920s by Elizabeth Leith Malick. It was then given to her daughter, Victoria Malick Sargis, in the late 1940s. Mrs. Sargis in turn gave the painting to her son, William Sargis (the current owner) in the 1970s"; sold 13 March 2011 for $2500 (hammer) by Clar's Auction Gallery, Alameda, California, as lot 6222 in sale 506. |
