Description: | (from the owner) The scene is of a monk walking on a dirt path in the country on a windy evening. He is bald, with a white beard, Franciscan kind of garb, a basket over one arm and a walking staff in the other. The sky is full of cumulus clouds with a burst of light illuminating one part. There are two distant birds in the sky. Dominating the painting is some kind of tree - an oak? |
