Description: | Waterlilies dot a small inlet. On the near side of the inlet a little bit of land topped with a green bush covers the lower right corner. Beyond the inlet on the left stands a grove of conifers. One reaches to the sky, higher than a tall cliff in the left background, while the white trunks of two others which are dead but standing cross. Another, brown, spire of a dead tree appears in the back of the forest. Farther down the inlet is a white boulder. Far away on the right, a mountain ridge is seen dimly through a thin veil of fog; the cloudy sky is white to dusty grey. (From a color photograph.) |
