Site: | Lake Blanche is a body of water about 1000 feet in length, located in the Wasatch Mountains, 25 miles southeast of Salt Lake City. |
Description: | A mountain peak with a trace of snow near its cap and generally of a pinkish cast stands at the center under grey, cloudy skies. A bright spot (the sun trying to break through?) appears in the sky just to the left of the top of the peak, while a grey forerange completes the background. In the middle distance, a small lake is surrounded by conifers; there is bright green underbrush on the right. The foreground is crossed by a grey path and dotted with pink wildflowers.
