On the right bank stands a conifer forest whose taller trees are brightened by the sun. Above the waterfall the cliff is similarly bright; below the lip of the fall it is dark. On the left is a green meadow, with brown shrubbery beyond and beyond that a low forest with a prominent tree. The river is very dark, the sky is bright but cloud filled; there is a dark cloud at the top left. (From a color photograph.) |
