• The Date it was painted, its Size, Medium, and support
• Inscriptions on the face of the painting and Verso Inscriptions (on the back)
• Provenance (history of ownership) of the painting and where it has been Exhibited
• Reproductions and other References in publications and archives
• Attribution, authenticity, inclusion and exclusion
• The Site and the Description of the scene depicted
• Identification of paintings that are cited by several sources
• Notes and Legends pertaining to the painting
• Documentation of Images
• Abbreviations used in the catalog
• Image scanning and post-scan processing procedures, including Color adjustment and calibration
