Description: | The lower half of a bright yellow full moon in the upper center of a brownish sky is partly covered with clouds. Dense trees stand high on both sides of a small river. In the left foreground brush and wildflowers grow around two dead tree trunks; on the right a log lies along the bank. The moon reflects in the rapids of the stream. The entire painting is in tones of yellow and brown. (From a color photograph.) |
