| Description: | Large swells from the sea at the left break against a red rock cliff at the right. Below the cliff are several smaller, jagged rocks; the mast of a wrecked ship lies at an angle below the cliff and other pieces of the wreck have washed in among the rocks. Behind the cliff to the right is a more distant, higher cliff; a seagull is silhouetted against the blue sky above the cliffs. To the left, a two-masted steamship sails along the horizon under a layer of orange clouds. (From a color photograph.) |
